AMR Consult is a multi-disciplinary construction project management company that specialises in the education sector. Our clients vary from the smallest single academy trusts to the largest and most recognisable names in the sector, as well as local and national government, charities and independent providers. We work nationally across all school types and age ranges and operate in every DfE capital programme, including Condition Improvement Fund, the School Rebuilding Programme and Schools Strategic Improvement Capital Brokerage. Most of our work is through repeat business as we tailor what we do to our clients’ needs but typical services include, development of estates strategies, feasibility studies, procurement advice, tendering services, technical advice and contract administration. All of our work is based on our extensive experience, adherence to statutory guidance and best practice and the expectations of our regulatory body the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors.
Free School support
Site and building management are integral aspects of opening a new free school as we look to create new and innovative education environments. AMR Consult has worked on the free school programme since its inception, working directly with DfE, applicant groups and local authorities. Our roles have been incredibly varied, including undertaking site searches, working as DfE Project Managers, writing applications for proposer groups and local authorities for the SEN waves, acting as Technical Advisors for self-delivery trusts and more recently as capital advisors for trusts in pre-opening. This range of experiences throughout the whole life of a free school project gives us the ability to help proposer groups understand what makes a good application and readies them for what is expected of them during pre-opening and beyond. We are excited to deliver the sites and capital advisory services and looking forward to support the next generation of free schools and maintain our close involvement in the programme.

Free school support
Kinetic Marketing is led by Becci Roach, who is a co-founder of the all-through free school in Eastbourne, Gildredge House. The school opened in September 2013 and received an ‘Outstanding’ rating in its first Ofsted inspection, with the inspector noting that parents were delighted that they “took a leap of faith” and enrolled their children at the school.
Through this experience, Becci established the service for free schools, recognising the need for a bespoke and tailored approach to marketing and centring the needs of each unique local community.
Our intimate knowledge of opening a free school and wider understanding of the free school sector will be utilised to provide advice on all aspects of new school marketing and branding strategies. In particular, we look forward to helping proposers engage and consult with their local communities throughout the application and pre-opening phase.

MLG Education Services was founded in 2013 to support schools, and academies, with all aspects of financing. Since then, we have worked with schools converting to academy status and aided existing academies requiring operational support, as well as trusts seeking to expand. Our work includes day to day financial support, diligence activities, contract reviews, trust system development, strategic planning, account management and more.
Most importantly, we ensure that all our support is bespoke and tailored to the schools, academies, and trusts that we work with. The team also recognise the financial pressures of running a school and seek to make financial management as simple as possible – we aim to be a helping hand!
Free school support
We work with over 80 academies across the UK, as well as the Education and Skills Funding Agency, and have gained an immense pool of knowledge amongst our team. We believe sharing best practice is invaluable and we seek to use our knowledge and experience of the education sector to assist free school proposers during the application stage of the new school journey.
We will support free school proposers to prepare financial budgets, create efficient financial systems and mitigate financial risks from the onset of the free school journey.
Moxton Education is a specialist organisation focused in the Education Sector. Moxton staff work directly with both schools and trusts, or with commercial organisations that have schools as their customers. Bringing together a nearly unmatched level of expertise in the field, Moxton draws on the talents and knowledge of professionals who have been at the forefront of schools, local governments, and commercial companies for more than 25 years.
The business is split into two parts, consultancy and services. The consulting part of the business delivers specialist independent advice through a range of specifically skilled and experienced associates directly to Schools, Academies, Multi-academy Trusts and FE Colleges. They can support assignments both large and small, covering areas as diverse as multi-site strategy to commercial, technical, educational, financial, project, service management and ICT in design.
The servicing part of their business delivers specialist consulting support to organisations or businesses that have Schools, Trusts or Colleges as their end customers. They can support with a range of tasks such as ‘getting fit for growth’, developing partner networks, launching new products, supporting business re-organisation, mergers and acquisitions, or supporting large and complex bids.
Free School Support
Moxton has managed key aspects of the creation of new schools including vision, ICT strategy, CPD, curriculum models and classroom design. Additionally, Moxton has worked in the supply side to Free Schools, managing the procurement of multi-million-pound ICT equipment, software and service contracts.
